It's always a surprise to me (even now) that you are constantly still learning things in life. I used to think my mom + dad knew it all. One day, I felt I would know it all... to my surprise I am still learning as an adult, + especially as a mother. The difference when you're learning the lessons as a parent vs a single adult is that you now have someone depending on you. I need to know what I believe now more than ever, because I have sweet little eyes + ears paying constant attention. (No pressure... lol)

Yes, Being a mom is the greatest gift of my life. Not because of the reasons I thought it would. I always heard women say that + used to judge what they meant. Now I know, God knew I needed her just as much as she needed me. She helps me be the best version of myself to set an example, to lead our family + to find answers that I know she will need herself one day. I love my sweet little May. Being a parent is the hardest but most rewarding job on the planet. Still learning... always. xoxo
