"Treating" Your Mind, Body + Spirit Daily (yes! you deserve it!)
So here recently I started to slow down my life, my mind, my heart + my body. Because of that, I have discovered the beautiful gift of gratitude.

When you are grateful, you appreciate every moment, opportunity + relationship you have. When you finally love who you are, you can learn the art of “treating yourself.”
Growing up in church you are told not to let pride in your heart. Loving yourself, taking care of your mind + body is not being arrogant but in fact is being diligent. You are being responsible with the gift you've been given = this wonderful life!
Here I have my favorite ways to love myself daily. Not with expensive things, but with simple details + steps that make a huge difference!
- Water: Start your day with cold water! Add lemons, limes, mint or strawberries to feel a little extra special + pampered.
- Listen: Start the morning, while showering or driving by listening to inspirational music, or great podcasts in your job field, generation or religion.
- Energize: Pour a cup of coffee, brew tea, or drive thru starbucks... drink straight up espresso to be healthy or add creamer to taste something sweet!
- Exercise: Whether its first thing in the morning, on your lunch break, or at night, you deserve to make your body a priority! Whatever your flavor: yoga, cardio, weights or stretching, getting your body to move will do wonders for you in more ways than one!
- Bath: A bath is such a easy way to feel secluded, pampered + relaxed. *Add flowers + fruit for skin benefits (plus, it just feels fancy!) Pour a glass of wine + wash away the worries of the day!
- Relax: We all do this differently. Whether its cuddling up watching a movie, reading in bed, or having a cup of ice cream... when you're able to relax + let go, you will be able to be your best! *set the ambiance with candles, it's super romantic! (even if its just you)
